Fool.co.uk issues Will advice
13 May 2008
If people want to have some control over where their assets go after they die then they need to draw up a will, according to monetary service provider Fool.co.uk.
David Kuo, head of personal finance at the organisation, states that many people believe that if they pass away before their spouse then all their property will automatically go to them.
However, this is not always the case, he warns.
People with particular wishes for their funeral arrangements should also look into having a will drawn up, Mr Kuo advises.

"There are some things you should not scrimp on and drawing up a will is definitely one of them... If you want to have a say as to where your money goes after you die, then you need to draw up a will too," he concludes.
Research carried out last year by Barclays Wealth suggested that two in three people in the UK do not have a will prepared.
