Tax changes on the cards says Brown

Gordon Brown says he is considering everything possible to help get people through the economic crisis.
In an interview on GMTV, the Prime Minister said tax changes would be addressed in the pre-Budget report, due to be published in the next few days.
Mr Brown said tax cuts or public spending rises were possible ways of getting "economies moving again" around the globe.

In good news for consumers, Mr Brown suggested food prices will fall during the next 6 months and said petrol prices are set for further drops in the next few days.
The Conservative party recently warned the Prime Minister that he had "maxed out the country's credit card" and said that any unfunded tax cuts could see debt passed on to the next generation.![]()
